This plants has the a very strongly variegated leaf. It is much more striking than any of the Agaves ,. which it resmbles.One of the best things about the plant is that the leaf point is soft and does not punture the skin if run into. This quality makes it an excellant patio plant or feature plant in a busy area. It grows well in contaibers abd can tolerate a wide range of soil types and sun levels from full sun to shade. It will tolerate a degree or two of frost.
